Aquatic movement research expedition & audiovisual production for a deep awareness about our connection to the waters. Bringing consciousness of our responsibility as human beings, in sight of the emergency of working towards the revitalization and harmony of the oceans.

We set sail guided by the winds, the seas and the islands of the Azores, for harmony of the ocean. Freediving, storytelling, surfing, sailing, in a dance connected with marine environments. We develop practices in nature as a way to improve deep listening, root environmental responsibility and respect for marine species.

Bringing together freedivers, surfers and sailors in the beautiful Azores islands to produce the “Song for Atlantis” documentary. A film about deep listening and interspecies communication.

A team brought together by the producer Violeta Lapa, sailing for harmony of the Ocean through dance and aquatic movement practices. Selected for their aquatic expertise, photography experience and global media impact, presenting the Azores as an essential destination for listening to nature and connecting with the environment. Inspired by the dedication and positive travel and adventure practices encouraged by the local community.

Known as the “Fish Man”, he’s passionate for the teachings of the sea, in search of different styles of waves and aquatic lessons throughout the world.
Leina Sato
Freediver, Instructor, Speaker
Fascinated by interspecies communication, developed during her encounters with cetaceans. Teaches about the therapeutic elements of freediving and insights from her time and dedication in the ocean.
Jean-Marie Ghislain
Photographer, Director, Author
Faced his fear of water and became an underwater photographer. Discovered an affinity and respect for sharks that led his images to being published in many books showing the gentle side of the supposed beast. Contributing towards conservation of marine environments and their inhabitants.
Matthieu Paley
Photographer, Speaker, Adventure, Author
Has traveled the world for National Geographic magazine. Focusing efforts on regions that are misrepresented or misunderstood. Committed to issues relating to diminishing cultures and the environment. Has learned six languages, feeding his passion to connect with people he meets and helping him instill a sense of intimacy into his images.

Journalist and publicist, with over 15 years of multidisciplinary experience in communication: Press, Text revision, directing, script writing, audiovisual production, social media, marketing, institutional communication, research and image management, developing projects in developing communities and environmental ONGs.

SailZen Captain and Founder. Born in São Miguel, Açores. Sailor since he was a child, world traveler. On a mission to sail the Açores taking passengers to connect with nature, with no fixed destination and with wind as a guide.

Founder of Oceans and Flow, producer of the Açores Atlantis Expedition and who sent out the call for the team gathering on board. Has organized journeys in different island locations discovering people and their water practices. Bringing together talents through dance and aquatic movement to empower dreams.

An action to honor the environment and the revitalization of the Oceans. An active meditation inspiring social and environmental responsibility.
